The Triennial Symposium on Transportation Analysis (TRISTAN) is now approaching its tenth event! The symposium attracts researchers from around the world, including academics and practitioners from both the private and public sectors. In addition to the usual presentations, the symposium emphasizes the discussion and reflection on research ideas and collaborations.

This fantastic symposium will be held at Hamilton Island, a beautiful location off the northeastern coast of Australia, near to the Great Barrier Reef. Historically, the symposium has been held on an island, and the week-long symposium includes a full-day excursion during the week. For 2019, we will offer an immersive experience at the Great Barrier Reef.

TRISTAN X builds from previous symposia in Aruba (2016), San Pedro de Atacama, Chile (2013), Tromsø, Norway (2010), Phuket, Thailand (2007), Guadaloupe (2004), the Azores (2001), San Juan, Puerto Rico (1998), Capri, Italy (1994), and Montréal, Canada (1991).
